~Venting / Having a bad day?~ Do you need to vent or are you just having a bad day? If so, this is the place to post!

Welcome To EDS-Kids
EDS Kids is a support group and community dedicated to helping children and young adult who suffer from chronic pain resulting from illnesses and genetic conditions like Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS for short) is a genetic connective tissue disorder which primarily causes chronic joint pain and joint dislocations. EDS Kids is a community dedicated to helping not only sufferers of EDS but their family and friends too.

What's up doc?
Bugs Bunny has nothing on me lol

I'm not going to update y'all on everything that's happened while I was gone but basically since I was last here regularly my EDS has progressed.

I don't have any of the regular EDS subtypes...mine's actually because of a deletion but basically I have symptoms from Classical, Hypermobility, and Vascular.

Right now my arthritis (I have Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis) is flaring up and I got a head injury in a car accident the other week so I have almost daily headaches now. My Dysautonomia's pretty much stable but I did collapse in class and whatnot last week.

I have to take a bunch of Motrin and I'm not supposed to be taking it so of course I'm queasy like I am whenever I have to take it for a long time but my current steroid dosage is not cutting it. Luckily I see my rheum in a week...and at least some of the problems with my foot calmed down.

What's up with everyone else? This place is dead.

I've been busy with school, house sitting, my business and trying to maintain my house!
Also reading, and hunting on the side.

However, my body right now is in the midst of a flare up so this is a horrible week for me so far!
