Welcome To EDS-Kids
EDS Kids is a support group and community dedicated to helping children and young adult who suffer from chronic pain resulting from illnesses and genetic conditions like Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS for short) is a genetic connective tissue disorder which primarily causes chronic joint pain and joint dislocations. EDS Kids is a community dedicated to helping not only sufferers of EDS but their family and friends too.

So...
I have a HUGE problem.

My knee dislocates about 10 times a day, and my leg folds strangely in half when it happens.

I am now wearing an immobilizer for support and stability so I can walk on my own, but everytime I take it off, it just happens again.

Plus the swelling is ridiculous.

Do any of you recommend anything I can do/try to help my knee with the dislocations, pain & swelling?

The typical RICE stuff:

Rest
Ice
Compression
Elevation (above your heart)

And see your Dr. *sigh*
