Alright... so I have some frightening symptoms... could they be dysautonomia?
I actually just got back from the ER. For the past week my lips, the roof of my mouth, and my hands have been almost completely numb. I feel like my eyes are spasming and I'm so dizzy... I'm also hearing weird pressure noises in my ears every time a dizzy spell hits...
Has this happened to anyone here?

Hmm...well first I hope you feel better! It sounds horrible! Secondly, personally I don't think it sounds like dysautonomia...it sounds more like an inner ear type of problem or some kind of ear virus or infection starting. That's my opinion.
But then again there are visual problems and weird sounds in dysautonomics ears so I don't know. And of course, dysautonomia and EDS have been linked together.......hmmm...I need to think about this more lol. If you want to give me a call feel free, I'm too foggy right now!
(((hugs)))

Yeah Dysaut makes us dizzy etc...but the numbness doesn't really come with it...that's something else entirely (in my case it's neuropathy and Chiari stuff). It can also be inner-ear like Gwen said.
Are you seeing your doc about this Johnna?
