Hi there, I'm Alice. I am 13 years old and have Ehlers Danlos syndrome hypermobility type 3. I was diagnosed in London in February but previous to that I had been diagnosed with Hypermobility. Before that even, I was diagnosed with tendonitis. Due to the fact I have EDS I am in pain all the time and have had many different medications- paracetamol, ibroprofen, naproxen, co-codamol, tramadol and dihidrocodine. None of these have worked. So still I was just wondering if there is anyone else out there like me that I could talk to about these various problems I have.
Welcome Alice. I am the co-founder and one of the administrators here at EDSkids! I am so glad you have joined us and sorry that you are in pain! If you need any help, have any questions or would just like to talk, please do not hesitate to get a hold of me!

Welcome to EDS Kids, Alice! Sorry it took me so long to respond.
I'm Johnna and I'm one of the admins here. =] I hope you'll fine this forum helpful!
I'm sorry to hear about your diagnosis, but we're glad to have you here!
I know what you mean about the medications. I've been on Ibuprofen, Tylenol/Paracetamol, Naproxen, Vicodin, Vicoprofen, Tramadol, Dilaudid, Morphine, Methedone, and possibly more that I can't remember. I'm currently on Suboxone, which is the best I've been on so far! It brings my pain down from a 10 to a 4, and doesn't make me high. Having such a large cocktail of medications can be confusing, so its nice to find one that finally works. Don't worry, you will find one that works for you too.
Please feel free to come to the forum with any questions or if you just wanna chat!
