~Venting / Having a bad day?~ Do you need to vent or are you just having a bad day? If so, this is the place to post!

Welcome To EDS-Kids
EDS Kids is a support group and community dedicated to helping children and young adult who suffer from chronic pain resulting from illnesses and genetic conditions like Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS for short) is a genetic connective tissue disorder which primarily causes chronic joint pain and joint dislocations. EDS Kids is a community dedicated to helping not only sufferers of EDS but their family and friends too.

Arghhhh!
Eughh, I'm so stressed right now, everything seems to be falling apart. I have this group of friends and me and a mate can see it being divided in 2.
I'm totally freaking about school lately cause i don't understand any of it!!It's like everything i always used to understand, everyone has to repeat themselves so i understand!!
I'm not getting hardly any sleep cause I can't get to sleep. I can find sooo many things to worry about that it keeps me awake!
I'm having problems with the people at my school writing mean things about me and saying mean things to me as they don't understand who i am!
My EDS has been acting up because of the cold, my physio keeps getting moved, i was supposed to go 2 months ago!!
I just feel like I'm about to be pushed over the egde, I'm generally a happy girl but I'm crying on average about 4 times a day

I'm sorry for all this, I had to let it out.

I know exactly what you are going through. I used to tell everyone i had an amazing group of friends but then i found out one of them was saying horrible stuff about me behind my back and the others were just agreeing with him, saying i didnt spend enough time with them. But i have manage to find some new friends who are really understanding
Ive also been missing alot of time off school so im falling behind and struggling to keep up. plus my hips and back are getting worse so im not sleeping which is just making everything worse.

I don't miss school what so ever, they were long long days, I dont know how I managed it! My friends are awesome and are there for me but some of them don't really understand the EDS and I don't talk about it much. The ones that need to know know and over time I've learnt who will be there for me and matters.

I hope things get better for you
