I was just wondering what everyone is working on craft/hobby wise...
Right now I'm knitting what I think will be a baby blanket for my friend thats having a little boy in May. The reason I say it might be a blanket is cause I just picked up a pair a knitting needles and picked out some yarn and just started knitting...so I'm not really sure what it will turn out to be. :haha:

still in a couple of weeks l hope l can purchase myself a 32" monitor ^_^ lve had it set as my target since l started work just hope the price stays the same until l purchase it :D from there the weeks wages after are going to be set aside for some fun, hopefully they clear by thursday because the the week of the 4th of march Ai will be coming to stay and it would be cool to go out to eat and have one of the following: italian, indian, or chinese/thai (they seem to do a mix) and in all hopes l can get my sister to drive so we can have a few pints with our meal :D

Thats cool. I'm trying to save up my money so that I can take some cake decorating classes while I'm at home with my second Mom (she's my Mom's best friend and is like a mom to me as well). Its kinda a new hobby of mine that I really love. I don't have a lot of patience for many time consuming projects, but when I sit down to decorate a cake I can sit and do it for hours and hours on end...Its pretty shocking.
I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun when AI comes to visit.

1) My scrapghan. It's a granny-square afghan I'm crocheting out of whatever yarn I've got laying around, because I've got tons of old stuff I want to get rid of. All scraps, hence the name.
2) Not destroying/ripping out/allowing infection to develop in my new navel piercing. This is proving to be a surprisingly involved task.
3) Miscilanious stuff in ceramics class.

l'll agree with that one... my sister has had one twice and both times it went ceptic and fell out even tho she was following the disinfection instructions she was given.

piercings are hard to keep really clean sometimes. When I got my nose pierced I was lucky that it never got infected. Once it got kinda red and then I increased my cleaning of it and took care of it.
I hope you manage to keep an infection away Rockbird.

After it going septic the first time wouldn't you maybe not go through that a second time??? or maybe thats just something I wouldn't do...

Eh, if this one doesn't work, I wouldn't nessicarily be adverse to giving it a second try. Lots of factors can cause a piercing to reject, so it's probably a matter of just isolating the cause...

Oh I quite agree...I've had ear piercings go horribly because of the place I went to have them done, and when you find out why and fix the problem they can go much better the second time, but I guess I've never had a piercing go septic cause I never would let it get that bad. They would get slightly irritated or infected and I was all over it.

Me too, i quite fancy stars somewhere - may be on my foot but not sure. ive heard that you can use emla cream before having a tattoo if you can get it where you are. i know i used to have it when i was younger when i had blood tests etc.

when I got mine the pain wasn't too bad, it just got irritating. As far as the skin goes, I just took quite a while to heal, but my skin seemed fine. I do know that it did take much longer to get it done because my skin isn't as cooperative as people with normal skin, but it was no big deal.

I have 2. One is a horseshoe with a flowering vine wrapped around it. Its in purples, green, pink and yellow...I think. and my other one is SJ (my first and middle name initials) that sorta looks like a cattle brand. That one is on my hip. The horseshoe is in my lower back

Yeah, I know what ya mean.
I have been working on a cloth diaper cake for my best friends baby shower.
It's driving me nuts especially since I do not know the sex of the baby.
