The cold :(

So I was sitting in bed wondering something.
Does the cold affect anyone else?
Because yet again, i read somewhere that it doesn't affect most people. The only thing I thought was WHAT?!
So yeah does it affect you guys?

no sense no feeling, thats me ^_^ l dont have EDS but lm stupid enough to have my window open all year round lol hell lve just come back from the shop wearing just shorts and a t-shirt.. l think lm just naturally warm blooded :)

well l put a coat on once, the most l ware is my favourite fleece, not sure l would consider it a proper one as its pretty thin XD tho l did ware thicker socks today as its been snowing got about an inch at the moment but there might be more tomorrow who knows (didnt take long for it to pile up there wasnt that much a few hours back)

heh, was ok... pretty much melting round here now kinda quick considering the the temps.

by the way, this maybe weird to state, but worth mentioning none the less for those here on special benefits in the UK due to their medical condition, its worth mentioning or following up on "Cold Weather Payments" ppl who are in recipt of special benefits can get an extra ?25 for their heating bill..

the way the system works is that if there has been seven consecutive days of sub 0 temps then these payments are usually triggered, if you dont see them its worth following up.

The cold and I do not mix well. My hands turn to ice if I'm indoors and the heat drops to below 67F or so. On top of that, I get really stiff and I definitely hurt more in the winter.

that energy assistance thing sounds like something we have here, supposedly every time it drops below freezing for more than two consecutive days you get £25 towards heating.

tho even tho l am on benefits lve not seen it, supposedly its for the elderly, those with kids, and the disabled.. problem is l only heard about cold weather payments over the last year or so, but since our government changed l think they stopped it as lve not met one person who actually gets cold weather payments..

No way in heck-- it's almost been a record HOTTEST summer in Oklahoma. My town, Tulsa, is ranked the 4th hottest city in America. I think the highest we got this summer was 113 degrees F.

Oh my goodness. Brooke, it has been horrendously hot here too in Maryland! It feels like as soon as I go outside, my face wants to melt off. I guess my boyfriend is right with the whole paleness of my skin thing... maybe I AM a vampire! ;)

It's rather cold in my house right now, due to Fall coming, however, I am cold & using an ice pack on my hip which makes me even colder!
